Balancing The Concept of God: The Purpose of Wonder Wombman

I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee where a church is on every other corner and people flock there every Sunday to hear a shouting man give his interpretation about sentences from different books within a book that were translated over 400 years ago. I was born in what some call the bible belt, where most people don’t read the bible for themselves and definitely do not know how to decipher the text and look at the concepts from different aspects. I was born in a world where “God” is only thought and spoken of as a “he, him and his“, and I was taught that all you had to do was believe, have faith and never question “God”.Well I think quite the opposite. I question everything, I try not to believe anything, and I work to know with knowledge and gain understanding of every single concept that I have been born into.

Yes, all of my life the concept of God has been projected and depicted upon me as an all-knowing and all-seeing white male living beyond the sky. God is a male and the first women came from the rib of a male. That made no sense to me. As a child I would watch the news and see good people being robbed and killed by bad people. I would see people dying over nothing and I always asked myself.. Where is God? Where is the powerful man y’all keep talking about? Then I learned about the enslavement of Africoid people and that really confused me. I didn’t understand why so many so-called black people believe and had faith in a book that has depictions of the same people that just enslaved some of our ancestor.People would say. “Keep God First!” But in my head. I would think NO, I have some questions for this god guy. Where was god when my father was killed? Where was god when my body was whipped for absolutely nothing? Where was god when people were being hung in trees and women were being raped for a man’s pleasure and to create a work-force.

The first god I know is my mother. So that’s the god I keep first. When a male can create a baby within his body, someone please let me know. If you study nature you will get your answers. Look within yourself.

It was my mothers nature that created and nourished me first. Wonder Wombman is dedicated to honoring the woman right here on earth to balance out the pseudo-teachings of my early existence. I am inspired to bring balance to some of these concepts that I have been into.

You will see a lot of poetry on this site. Poetry that I hope challenges ones mind. I do not consider myself a poet because I do not recite them before the public. I use the art of poetry to convey a message that some may not resonate with written in a direct manner.

I like to go against the grain, look right when you tell me left, look down when you point me up, look within when you tell me out.

The reason why you see a lot of brown-skinned women with natural hair is because that is my image of god and I also want my sisters to know that god makes no mistakes and you are perfect just the way you are. You are the closest reflection of the first mother. No one can debate this.

Lastly, a lot of fellas misunderstand the concept of “the black wombman is god” and think it’s about their wife or girlfriend being superior to them. The concept is about you coming from you mother and no matter how big and strong you grow… You can never be greater than which you came from. You will always be a child to your parents.
